Transports Publics 2012 will be bringing together urban, interurban and regional transport professionals from across France and Europe : organising authorities, operators, industries, manufacturers, sub-contractors and others.

This not-to-be-missed biennial exhibition gathers key players from rail, bus, coach and alternative transport, as well as from related industries : public works, infrastructure, civil engineering companies, manufacturers of street furniture, parking, payment and ticketing systems, consultants, designers, banking, insurance and energy services, along with other actors including institutions.

Les membres du CLUB FRANCE RIO+20 vous invitent à participer au lancement international du SOMMET DE LA TERRE.
Du 20 au 22 juin, les chefs d’État se réuniront à Rio de Janeiro, 20 ans après un premier sommet mondial pour le développement durable. Dans un contexte mondial de changements climatiques, d’épuisement des ressources, de pollutions, d’accélération démographique, de risques sanitaires, la question qui leur est posée est double : Quelle gouvernance de l’environnement dans une démarche globale de développement durable ? Comment rendre plus « verte » l’économie ?
C’est le moment de leur transmettre un message optimiste d’un monde à réinventer.

The European Renewable Energy Council (EREC) and Cecodhas Housing Europe would like to invite you to the conference « Using Structural and Cohesion Funds to achieve the 2020 energy & climate targets” on 20th of June from 9.30 to 12.45 in Brussels. This conference takes place during the Sustainable Energy Week in the Charlemagne building of the European Commission.

SF Energy Invest is a project supported by the Intelligent Energy Europe programme of the EACI, whose main objective is to help managing authorities of the Structural Funds as well as potential project promoters to use the EU cohesion policy in order to boost the number and quality of sustainable energy projects.

This session explores local climate and energy action, financing, communication, support for municipalities and the Covenant of Mayors. With close to 4,000 signatories, the Covenant of Mayors proves that cities and towns are interested in acting, and are key actors in going beyond the European Union’s 3x20 targets (CO2 reduction of 20% by 2020, 20% renewable energy, 20% improved efficiency).

This event, jointly organized by Climate Alliance, Energy Cities, Fedarene and ICLEI Europe will present how cities and towns link to actors that support them, available offers of training, great examples that can be replicated, and how to stimulate the green urban economy- linking to the RIO+20 outcomes. The event will explore effective multi-level governance and the role of Covenant Coordinators & Supporters.
Further, it will focus on current EU funding mechanisms and future prospects for financing sustainable energy, and finally demonstrates the importance of mobilizing stakeholders. Last but not least, it will offer a deeper insight of the implementation and outcomes of the Covenant of Mayors, as an important initiative for local governments.

Two Energy Cities led initiatives will be presented at this event : NETworking the Covenant of Mayors : National Covenant of Mayors Clubs (NET-COM) and the ENGAGE campaign

Representatives from cities, towns, regions and networks are invited to attend, exchange and foster collaboration.

Rennes Métropole organise cette rencontre dans le cadre du projet européen ENGAGE.

Cette journée, destinée en premier lieu aux élus et agents des collectivités locales, a pour objectif de partager des approches méthodologiques issues des sciences humaines et des retours d’expérience de projets menés à Rennes, Nantes, Paris et Lyon qui seront ensuite discutés.

Quelques jours après les élections présidentielle et législatives, cette rencontre entre politiques, économistes, experts du secteur, industriels et ONG permettra d’aborder les problématiques de l’énergie à l’aune, non seulement, d’une nouvelle mandature mais aussi d’un contexte économique difficile.

Ce dernier peut-il impliquer une remise en cause des choix faits à ce jour ?
Des experts d’autres pays (Allemagne, Danemark, Italie, Royaume-Uni, etc.) viendront évoquer des stratégies parfois bien différentes de celles de la France.

Le 29 au soir, un débat réunira le directeur général de l’Energie et du Climat, Pierre-Franck-Chevet, et les économistes Jean-Marie Chevalier et Christian de Perthuis autour du thème : « Et si le changement climatique nous aidait à sortir de la crise ? », titre du dernier ouvrage de M. de Perthuis.

Ce forum est organisé par le département Energie du groupe Moniteur, qui publie les lettres quotidiennes BIP et Enerpresse.
