Let’s gather around the table in Valencia!

Study tour in Valencia: Valencia agri-food strategy and action plan

Valencia is the capital of paella, it is also a very active member city of Energy Cities and a privileged territory where agriculture, fishing and livestock are key for the peri-urban space.

Ever since the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact was signed in 2015, the municipality of Valencia has been implementing a remarkable local agri-food strategy and action plan, with the creation of a municipal food council, the strengthening of short-food supply chains and a land policy that promotes the territory’s food sovereignty.

Come and discover with us what’s happening the behind the scenes, the projects, the internal governance processes and the alliances that have been built to carry out this strategy!

This study tour is organized by Energy Cities with the support of The French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) and it is directed mainly to French cities.

Space is limited to 20 people, with priority given to local communities.

Price per person: 420 euros (VAT included), including: participation in meetings and visits, simultaneous French-Spanish interpretation, lunch and dinner (2 dinners and 2 lunches), and local public transportation.

Not included in this price are: accommodation and the transport to Valencia, which participants will have to pay for and organize by themselves.

The registration form and the program updates will be published on this page.
