Helsinki est aujourd&rsquo;hui principalement chauff\u00e9e avec du charbon (53 %) et du gaz naturel (35 %). La ville souhaite d\u00e9carboner le secteur en utilisant le moins possible de biomasse afin de pr\u00e9server le puits de carbone forestier de la Finlande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Les projets r\u00e9compens\u00e9s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce concours\nunique, qui s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 sur un an, a re\u00e7u 252 propositions de 35 pays,&nbsp; dont 10 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 retenues comme finalistes.\nLe&nbsp; 16 mars dernier, le jury du concours\na donn\u00e9 la liste des quatre projets gagnants qui se r\u00e9partiront 1 million\nd\u2019euros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/energychallenge.hel.fi\/hive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>HIVE<\/strong><\/a> tire profit de la situation g\u00e9ographique d\u2019Helsinki, en bord de mer, et fait usage de &nbsp;technologies existantes comme les pompes \u00e0 chaleur sur eau de mer, les chaudi\u00e8res \u00e9lectriques, les panneaux solaires thermiques, les syst\u00e8mes de stockage de l\u2019\u00e9nergie thermique ou encore les mesures de gestion de la demande. Les points forts de ce projet sont la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois locaux et sa flexibilit\u00e9, qui lui permet d\u2018int\u00e9grer de nouvelles technologies au fur et \u00e0 mesure de leur apparition. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/energychallenge.hel.fi\/beyond-fossils\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>Beyond fossils<\/strong><\/a> est un mod\u00e8le de transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique bas\u00e9 sur des ench\u00e8res ouvertes et technologiquement neutres pour le chauffage propre. Le but est de garantir la rentabilit\u00e9 des investissements dans les solutions de chauffage propre sur les march\u00e9s de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie \u00e0 faible \u00e9mission de carbone qui se d\u00e9veloppent rapidement. Cette solution ax\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9 vise \u00e0 assurer la mise en \u0153uvre et le financement de solutions techniques existantes ainsi que l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration de solutions futures.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/energychallenge.hel.fi\/smart-salt-city\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>Smart Salt City<\/strong><\/a> vise \u00e0 int\u00e9grer technologies de chauffage \u00e9lectrique (pompes \u00e0 chaleur et chaudi\u00e8res \u00e9lectriques) et installations \u00e9oliennes et solaires. Le projet utilise des solutions innovantes de stockage thermochimique ainsi que l&rsquo;intelligence artificielle pour concevoir et optimiser un nouveau syst\u00e8me de chauffage.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/energychallenge.hel.fi\/hot-heart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>Helsinki\u2019s Hot Heart<\/strong><\/a> est un projet de cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une \u00eele artificielle&nbsp;: 10 r\u00e9servoirs flottants remplis d&rsquo;eau de mer chaude pouvant \u00eatre aliment\u00e9s par diff\u00e9rentes sources d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et par des pompes \u00e0 chaleur sur eau de mer composeraient un syst\u00e8me de stockage d\u2019\u00e9nergie flexible. La structure pourrait \u00eatre surmont\u00e9e de structures de toit gonflables pour cr\u00e9er une nouvelle attraction de loisirs.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La Ville de Helsinki a \u00e9galement d\u00e9cern\u00e9 un prix de reconnaissance \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quipe&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;CHP Consumers to Heat Producers&nbsp;\u00bb pour sa description, particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9clairante, de la diversit\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes de chauffage<a> <\/a>et des acteurs concern\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Quelles le\u00e7ons tirer de ce concours<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les diff\u00e9rents projets, qu\u2019ils soient bas\u00e9s sur le march\u00e9 ou sur la\ntechnologie, proposent un \u00e9ventail de solutions innovantes vari\u00e9es, ax\u00e9es sur\nl&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, l&rsquo;utilisation de la chaleur r\u00e9siduelle,\nl&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification et le stockage, voire m\u00eame sur le transport, par\nbateaux-citernes, d\u2019eau chaude chauff\u00e9e par des sources d\u2019\u00e9nergie bas carbone. <strong>Nous pouvons retenir quelques le\u00e7ons de ces\nprojets :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>De nombreux projets soulignent la <strong>n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d&rsquo;impliquer les citoyens dans ce changement syst\u00e9mique<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/energychallenge.hel.fi\/carbonhelsinki\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Le projet <em>Carbon Helsinki<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>propose m\u00eame la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;un centre de connaissances afin de sensibiliser les habitants et leur faire mieux comprendre les changements apport\u00e9s aux syst\u00e8mes de chauffage de la ville. <\/li><li>Les projets ont tous montr\u00e9 que la d\u00e9carbonisation du chauffage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle d\u2019une ville <strong>ne repose pas sur une solution unique mais sur des solutions partielles, ainsi que sur de multiples acteurs<\/strong> qui doivent travailler de concert. La plupart des projets utilisent&nbsp; des \u00e9nergies renouvelables ou de la chaleur fatale, des pompes \u00e0 chaleur coupl\u00e9es \u00e0 des solutions de stockage saisonnier et des mesures ax\u00e9es sur le march\u00e9. &nbsp;<\/li><li>Les projets ont montr\u00e9 que des <strong>solutions existent d\u00e9j\u00e0 et que la d\u00e9carbonisation des grandes villes<\/strong>, m\u00eame sous des climats froids, est possible. Les projets orient\u00e9s vers l&rsquo;avenir soulignent \u00e9galement un besoin de flexibilit\u00e9 pour int\u00e9grer les solutions futures.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, les solutions propos\u00e9es par ces \u00e9quipes d&rsquo;innovateurs sont adapt\u00e9es au contexte local et \u00e0 la situation g\u00e9ographique, et notamment c\u00f4ti\u00e8re, d&rsquo;Helsinki. Mais ces projets peuvent \u00eatre reproduits en les adaptant \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres contextes locaux en tenant compte des besoins en mati\u00e8re de chauffage et des ressources disponibles. C&rsquo;est pourquoi le maire d&rsquo;Helsinki, <strong>Jan Vapaavuori<\/strong> a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que \u00ab&nbsp;<strong>le grand gagnant de ce concours est Helsinki elle-m\u00eame, mais aussi d&rsquo;autres villes dans le monde qui vont pouvoir b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier des connaissances et des id\u00e9es recueillies ici<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00bb. La capitale finlandaise est convaincue que \u00ab&nbsp;le changement est entre les mains des villes&nbsp;\u00bb et veut montrer la voie.
