Behaviour change for sustainable mobility – INTERREG Europe

Reducing the carbon emissions of European transport will require a shift to active transportation and low-carbon public transport, but getting people to break their habits and shift away from private vehicles remains a key challenge for policy-makers.

During the webinar, two cities of UIA present challenges and solutions that cities are facing when achieving behaviour change. In addition, two Interreg Europe project representatives will dive deeper into the solutions that are found in their projects to solve the faced challenges.

Sophie Gillaerts from the City of Ghent (TMaaS project) and Maria Mourfoulaki from the Centre for Research and Technology, Hellas (e-smartec project) will focus their presentations on data and information provision.

Anna Huttunen from the City of Lahti (CitiCAP project) and Kamila Dobek from the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation, Poznan Science and Technology Park (PE4Trans project) will explore incentives for modal shift.
