19 cities and community organisations distinguished for the Franco-German Energy Transition Week

At the “Pioneering energy transition territories in France and Germany” conference held in Montreuil (FR) on 5th and 6th September, 19 cities and community organisations were distinguished in an ideas competition for the actions they propose to take during the 2019 Franco-German Energy Transition Week.

The winners will receive between €750 and €6,000 to develop and implement these actions during the Franco-German Energy Transition Week in late January 2019. There are lots of fresh ideas : an Escape Game on the Energy-Climate theme devised by the cities of Metz and Worms, the construction of a wind turbine by schoolchildren from the cities of Epernay and Ettlingen, etc.

It is not too late to participate in the 2019 Franco-German Energy Transition Week !

Local authorities, community organisations, clubs and cooperation institutions can still submit their action proposals on the Week’s web portal to qualify for the event label, promote them and receive a communications kit.
