Whether you wish to do some sport, discuss with friends, have fun with your children or simply do … nothing! – the Eco Park is the new place to be in Hadera!

Built at the heart of a recent and developing neighbourhood, Hadera’s Eco Park is a unique ecological park covering 86,111 yards.

Why “Eco Park” ?

The park was built with a special focus on sustainability and energy efficiency, while reflecting the historical nature of Hadera.

The Eco-Park enjoys a “micro-climate” influencing the temperature and allowing dense vegetation, a lake, shading and increasing air currents by changing the soil parameters. Eco Park was designed to preserve water with a smart irrigation system, and lighting in the park is based on LED lights.

For this project, the municipality of Hadera was awarded the 1st place of the Israelis architecure competition in the “landscape” category. Congratulations!

The park offers pedestrian and cycle paths, a high observation point overlooking the park and an amphitheater where various shows and events take place. At the heart of the park you will find a beautiful lake with luxuriant vegetation and a wide variety of fish, that visitors can observe from a pedestrian bridge.

Another unique feature of the park is a “Pump track” area and more than 50 recreational areas including an interactive DJ table that allows people to create mixes and add musical effects via their mobile phone, an interactive dance platform with dozens of cool memory games, an electronic soccer field that gives scoring according to the strength of the kicks, and provides a virtual game experience in a stadium. But what makes the park one of its kind in the country is its accessibility to people with disabilities.
