A nature-inclusive transition to renewable energy at sea is essential to address the climate and biodiversity crises. The success of this transition hinges on effective public participation and meaningful community engagement to ensure that the use of common, natural resources reflects public interest.

The event will feature contributions from expert speakers to explore how the EU and Member States can accelerate the transition to renewable energy at sea while facilitating public participation and community engagement.
