Energy Cities Annual Forum 2025

Would you like to host our annual forum?

Energy Cities’ Annual Forum is the gathering where our members, urban experts and relevant stakeholders come together to share knowledge, experiences and best practices.

It is the place where Energy Cities and the host city show the progress, the potential, the diversity of local energy initiatives all over Europe. They also share solutions, failures, needs for new policies and legal frameworks and shake the business-as-usual agenda as well as the EU agenda.

We are looking for member cities to host the forum in 2026 or 2027! If you would like to learn more about the benefits of hosting, check our dedicated guide.

Energy Cities will review each application and will make its decision based on the motivation of the city to host the event and the benefits and opportunities it can offer for participants. We will also consider the different initiatives developed by the city and its energy and sustainability policies and the possibility to align the content of the forum with Energy Cities’ policy priorities for that year. We are committed to showcasing collective efforts and supporting policies that will help municipalities advance in their transition.
