Event organised by the European Commission in collaboration with the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU), Ireland’s independent energy and water regulator.
The forum will focus on how to achieve a fair and inclusive energy transition for all, and discuss consumers’ role in the changing energy market, as well as their capacity to use the opportunities offered by new technologies. Other questions to be debated concern sustainable finance for energy efficiency and renewable energy production, and how to ensure that vulnerable consumers can also enjoy the benefits brought by a more efficient and flexible energy market.
