An engineering graduate of Centrale Lyon, Julien completed his studies with a master’s degree in law and environmental economics to improve his understanding of the ecological transition. He then travelled to Thailand where he set up energy performance contracts to reduce electricity use in hypermarkets. Back in France, he worked for an air quality monitoring association to help local authorities with their energy and climate transition.
A strong believer in the role of public authorities in transforming our lifestyles, Julien joined Energy Cities in November 2018 and is handling projects relating to energy planning and district heating. In his personal life, he strives to reduce his carbon footprint and supports social and climate justice.
