Marina joined Energy Cities in September 2026. She holds a BA in International Relations from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an MSc in Urban Governance from Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), where she specialised in smart, sustainable, and inclusive cities.
At Energy Cities, Marina works across both project and corporate communications, with a focus on fundraising, leading communications content on climate adaptation, and managing communications for the Adapt4EU project. She has over eight years of relevant communications experience in Brussels and abroad, which has equipped her with strong expertise in strategic communications, project management, and stakeholder engagement. She firmly believes in our collective responsibility to make the world a better place for all and is passionate about tackling inclusivity issues through a creative and intersectional lens.
In her free time, Marina enjoys wandering around with a good soundtrack in the background, making art, and spending as much time near the ocean as possible.
