Selma joined Energy Cities in February 2023 to work, as an EU policy assistant, on EU funding mechanisms for local transition and sufficiency.
Passionate about all aspects of the ecological transition, she is now working on projects related to the decarbonization of heating and cooling systems, as a policy and project officer.
She holds a master's degree in "Politics, ecology, and sustainability" from Sciences Po Lille, where she specialized in advocacy and European energy and climate policies.
In her free time, Selma enjoys yoga, mindfulness meditation, ice baths, and making art.
