It’s time to bring even more local governments, citizens and SMEs to the energy community movement!
With a focus on community solar and energy efficiency, the LIFE LOOP project aims to connect local authorities and their citizens. New partnerships will allow the development of new projects and the achievement of community energy objectives together.
By setting-up energy communities in a collaborative way, citizens gain ownership of the energy transition in their neighbourhood and local authorities work towards targets set in their local energy and climate plans.
LIFE LOOP is set to be the go-to-place to get relevant community energy support, build skills and create links combining energy and gender justice in Greece, Croatia, Romania, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Italy.
But to do so, REScoop.eu, Energy Cities and our local partners, need to hear and learn from your perspective and experience. We have prepared a survey to discover the barriers and opportunities that exist for the development of energy communities through the collaboration of citizen initiatives and local municipalities. What are the barriers and opportunities you face?
