Saint-Étienne Métropole

Saint-Étienne Métropole is a French metropolis, located in the Loire department and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It includes 53 municipalities with a total population of more than 404,000 inhabitants.

Saint-Etienne Métropole and the Parc Naturel Régional du Pilat, both involved in territorial climate and energy plans, responded to the call for projects of the Ademe and the Rhône-Alpes Region: Positive Energy Territory (Tepos), in order to strengthen their commitment and cooperation. The result is a €2 million grant that will enable Saint-Etienne Métropole and Parc du Pilat to finance various actions such as insulating public buildings, developing car-sharing, providing assistance to retailers wishing to renovate their premises, and renewing the bus fleet.
