After having graduated from a Business and Management School in 1987, Christophe has spent 10 years in the public transport sector working in the marketing and passenger information areas as well as managing a regional office. He then spent 5 years at the French Agency for the Environment and Energy Management (ADEME) to coordinate European projects before joining Energy Cities in 2004 as a Senior Project Manager.
Since 2011 he is responsible for the development and coordination of the European Covenant of Mayors initiative in the Eastern Partnership region that includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
