Daniele joined Energy Cities in September 2025, driven by his passion for democratizing energy resources.
In his role, he works on policy and communications, focusing on the Covenant of Mayors Initiative. There, he helps highlight pioneer cities leading the way in energy communities and multi-level governance. He also contributes to Energy Cities' policy work on the EU budgetary resources for the local climate and energy transition.
He holds a Master's in Global and Local Studies with a Minor in Environmental Humanities. Passionate about the history of urban development, Daniele explores how local communities can actively contribute to the energy transition of cities and towns—a focus that naturally connects his academic background to his current work.
Outside of work, he enjoys going to the cinema or embarking on cycling adventures.
