The EU City Facility (EUCF) is an initiative for medium and small European municipalities. Its mission is to build a substantial pipeline of sustainable energy investment projects across cities in the EU, by providing targeted financial, technical, legal and capacity-building support. Within the framework of the EUCF, local governments have the opportunity to apply to a EUR 60 000 grant to receive such support. The EUCF’s first round of applications closed on 2 October 2020 with more than 250 applications.

The second call will be launched on 29 March 2021. An online seminar is organised to help local governments from Latvia better prepare their applications.
