Applications are open to become 2026 or 2027’s host of Energy Cities’ annual forum and put your city in the spotlight as a champion of the green transition.

A platform to enhance cooperation and knowledge sharing

Energy Cities’ Annual Forum is the gathering where our members, urban experts and relevant stakeholders come together to share knowledge, experiences and best practices. Our members have the chance to highlight positive actions that go beyond fighting and adapting to climate change – actions that go much further by reinventing local economies and policies.

The forum is the place where Energy Cities and the host city show the progress, the potential, the diversity of local energy initiatives all over Europe. They also share solutions, failures, needs for new policies and legal frameworks and shake the business-as-usual agenda as well as the EU agenda.

Apply to become the next host

2025’s edition will be held in Besançon, the place of birth of Energy Cities, and preparations are in full swing! But if you are a member of our network, you can be the host for 2026 or 2027’s edititon and showcase the initiatives your city is carrying out and inspire other municipalities.
