European City Facility opens second call with even more resources for cities

Local governanceAfter the huge enthusiasm created by the 1st call for projects, that received over 250 applications, the European City Facility (EUCF), led by Energy Cities, just opened the second call for proposals with increased resources!
In this second round (29 March – 31 May), an even larger number of local authorities will be selected to benefit from tailor-made, fast and simplified support and access the grant of €60,000 to develop their investment concepts.
The EUCF is open to all municipalities/local authorities, their groupings, and local public entities aggregating municipalities/local authorities from:
- the EU Member States,
- EEA-EFTA States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway)
- and the United Kingdom.
Applicants are required to have a politically-approved climate and energy plan.
