Information about the webinar

EU Sparks is a project supported by the European Commission aimed at implementing the first European Citizens Hackathon Championship. This initiative encourages teams of citizens and researchers to collaborate on developing technological and social innovation solutions to tackle climate challenges.

Operating within the framework of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change and the EU Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, alongside the EU knowledge valorisation policy, the project enables the creation of solutions to specific challenges proposed by European citizens with innovative ideas and a passion for environmental improvement.

The webinar will offer insights into these EU Missions and policies, featuring concrete examples and inspirational talks highlighting the collaborative journey of developing solutions. The session will also introduce the project and the call for participants, concluding with a Q&A session.
