In the framework of the meetMED II “Mitigation Enabling Energy Transition in the Mediterranean region” project, MEDENER/ADEME, in cooperation with RCREEE, SEACAP 4 SDG & Interreg MED Efficient Buildings Community are organizing a Joint Euro-Mediterranean workshop entitled “Innovation & Impact: Good Practices in Energy Efficiency for Buildings in Mediterranean Cities” on February 24th, 2022.

The workshop will present a panorama of replicable tools and methodologies promoting energy efficiency in buildings to the attention of local authorities as well as local, regional and national energy agencies.

In parallel working groups, the needs of the cities will be explored, and, consequently, the transferability and concrete application of these solutions at the territorial level will be further developed.

The first pool of Mediterranean cities interested in reducing public buildings’ energy consumption is expected to be identified to support them in adopting and implementing the tools and methodologies into their day-to-day and for further replication and capitalization.
