Scalable Cities Roadshow: Build Your Financial Capacity for Positive Energy District and Neighbourhood Development
Fossil-free citiesThis peer-to-peer session is part of the Scalable Cities Roadshow, a financial capacity-building program designed to help cities acquire the knowledge needed to scale up energy transition projects, obtain funding to boost climate-neutral strategies, and contribute to fostering a green urban market environment.
This in-person event aims to bring together nine cities that are developing or interested in developing a Positive Energy District (PED) or Positive Energy Neighbourhood (PEN).
The event will take place in Kozani, Greece, on Thursday, September 26th, 2024. The event will begin at 9:00 AM on the 26th and will conclude with a social dinner on the same day. (You will need to travel the day before and return the day after.)
The goal is to share and discuss how to implement and make these projects economically viable through the aggregation of various solutions. In this session, you will hear from local experts, finance professionals, and investors who will provide support throughout the event.
A budget of up to 900 euros is available to help cover travel and accommodation expenses for visiting cities.
