Four cities from Belgium, Italy, Spain and Czech Republic will give us insights into how they designed energy services that are viable and inclusive. They range from social cooperative shares for facilitated membership access to municipal energy from cemeteries with earmarking for vulnerable households. An additional perspective will be given by partners from North Macedonia and The Netherlands. These are learnings from the POWER UP project that, we hope, can flow into policy.
The sessions will be very interactive with voices from municipalities, cooperatives, advocacy groups, national and EU representative. The inspiring speech will be given by Prof. Adeline Otto talking about the Perceptions and Politics of Fairness.
It’s a morning event from 9-14h, including a networking lunch – another great opportunity to mingle with other energy justice advocates!
