Based on the experience of other cities across Europe, the free online course Roadmap Process for historic urban areas regeneration will allow municipalities to design and implement impactful strategic urban regeneration roadmaps.
Thanks to this course, you will learn how to design strategic roadmaps tailored to the unique needs of your city’s historic urban area, but also to build effective engagement plans with citizens and stakeholders. You will be able to define the necessary actions and montior their implementation.
Hosted on the Energy Cities Local Transition Learning Centre, the training will be available until 31 January. It consists of 10 self-paced modules, which can be completed in just 8–10 hours. With engaging short videos, interactive activities, templates, and knowledge checks, you’ll be guided through every stage of the road-mapping process.

This course was developed in the framework of the EU-funded project Hubs of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Transformation of Historic Urban Areas (HUB-IN), which facilitates the transformation and regeneration of Historic Urban Areas (HUAs) while preserving their unique cultural and social identity and the environment.
