Nordic CityMaking is a forum and a movement based in the Nordics connecting CityMakers across countries, cities and communities.
The first edition of Nordic CityMaking Week in September 2020 in Helsinki and Vantaa brought together – online and on site see videos on YouTube – more than 1 500 citymakers from all around the world to discuss what is Nordic in our cities, what do we mean with citymaking, and how can we as citymakers create better ways of working and thinking together to make our cities better.
The theme of the 2021 edition in ‘Common ground – common place’ – based on the co-created Nordic CityMaking manifesto.
Whether you are a professional working with urban development, a student wanting to understand Nordic cities better, or a community activist looking for inspiring cases and connections, this week is for you.
