Summer is almost over, and one of the things we’ll remember for sure is the unbearably hot temperatures across Europe. In addition to the climate challenge, there’s an urban one too, as cities need to protect their residents from heatwaves as well.

Organised during URBAN OCTOBER, the new CLIMABOROUGH webinar Heatwaves aren’t cool: How cities design cooler public spaces explores how cities can respond to rising temperatures while creating more inclusive, resilient and people-centred public spaces.

We’ll get inspired by the experiences of Athens and Grenoble, and learn from our keynote speaker, François De Gasperi, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Territories in Transition Chair at Grenoble Ecole de Management, about the dynamics shaping urban heat.

Don’t miss it: learn more!

CLIMABOROUGH is an EU-funded project that aims to bridge the gap between design and implementation of urban innovations, particularly in the face of climate change and its consequential needs for adaptation and mitigation.
