Covid-19: Impact on the EU Energy Transition

The aspects of the crisis emerging around COVID-19 are manifold. The energy sector, like many others, will evolve over the coming years under the impression of its consequences. Even though it is too early to forespell what these will be in detail, Bloomberg NEF recently presented its survey « COVID-19 : Impact on the EU Energy Transition » in which it evaluated its consequences against nine scenarios on four key energy-related issues over the coming five to ten years: climate policy, clean energy policy, power sector economics, electricity demand.
