Cities4PEDs, a two-year research project funded by JPI Urban Europe, organises a series of Energy Lunch talks with the goal to learn and further discuss specific and relevant questions to investigate Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) aspects and implementation strategies. This will be done by bringing on the table testimonies of already existing innovative practices of all around Europe and opening a conversation on possible shared challenges and in place strategies to further accelerate neighbourhood transformation and implementations toward PEDs development.

Every Wednesday, from 13.00 to 14.00 (CET), from the 16th of February to the 16th of March, we will discuss a series of key topics related to positive energy districts. Join us to contribute and get insights from the cities of Brussels, Stockholm, Vienna and many more!

For this lunch talk, we will explore the methods (apart from financial support) that cities can provide to activate developers to realise PEDs. Secondary (and an outlook to): What does a capacity development programme look like in a district with a heterogeneous ownership structure (not only developers but also private homeowners)?
