Meet and be inspired by cities that have set their public lighting, housing and district heating & cooling on a climate-neutral trajectory thanks to their cooperation with private investors, companies and financing institutions.

Without private expertise and finance, without citizens on board and without strong support from national and EU institutions, the implementation of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans becomes a Herculean task. Face to this challenge, many cities are getting outside of their comfort zone, launching collaborative partnerships with the private sector and with motivated people willing to drive the change in their territories.

Join this event to discover how cities are reducing their dependence on fossil fuels in the field of street lighting, housing and district heating & cooling thanks to innovative partnerships and projects. Benefit from short and practical trainings, case studies, hands-on methodologies and tools. Enjoy the networking sessions that will leave you enough time to get to know your peers and to explore the variety of approaches to the very same challenge.

This event is organised by Smart EPC project (Horizon 2020), Covenant of Mayors – Europe and Smart Cities Marketplace.

The Smart EPC project can cover travel and accommodation costs for a limited number of participants from cities and energy agencies. These costs will be reimbursed after the event, based on real costs and up to 300 euros per participant (and 1 person per organisation). We will apply the principle of “first come, first served”. Please indicate in the registration form whether you are interested and we will contact you to confirm if your request is approved or not.
