After the first COVID19 lockdown, our cities – even the largest ones – are slowly returning back to ‘normal’ life… But will the new ‘normal’ be the one we knew before? Would ‘business as usual’ continue or is there a chance to move towards a real circular economy? How the declared climate urgency and related policies are affected?

Our online chat – organised in the framework of the Energy Efficiency Watch project – is exploring views of two capitals’: Budapest and Paris. Their climate chiefs will be telling us what challenges and opportunities they encounter and what practical solutions and actions they undertake in this unprecedented context…

Join the conversation with our guests:

  • Ada Amon, Head of Climate Mitigation and Adaptation, Mayor’s Office, City of Budapest
  • Yann Francoise, Head of climate, energy and circular economy strategies at City of Paris

Hosted by Kristina Dely, Energy Cities – Project Management

What a peculiar year to celebrate Energy Cities’ 30th anniversary! At a time when social distancing is required, collective intelligence is more important than ever.

The Energy Cities team invites you to a series of weekly live chats around the energy transition. Every Thursday after lunch, grab a nice piece of cake and a cup of tea (not included), and join us online!
