How to gain practical knowledge and have access to game-changing tools that are able to accelerate your municipality’s transition towards climate neutrality?
Working with cities daily, at Energy Cities we know that public officers and decision-makers can feel overwhelmed and under-equipped to meet the ambitious climate targets. That’s why we launched the Local Transitions Learning Centre, a digital space where you can find several free trainings on our 5 hub topics: governance, fossil-free districts, community energy, sustainable food and resource-wise economies.
In addition to e-learning courses, we also offer in-person events and workshops, such as the SPARKLE Schools. Taking place between March and June 2026 in different European cities, these 2-day workshops are a great chance to learn interactively and engagingly while visiting inspiring case studies and exchanging with other cities and professionals, learning from one another. After the online common track, the specialised track includes the following schools:
All events are held in English with translation from/to the national language. Moreover, the programme aims to cover travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs for 10 selected representatives of 5 European LRAs for each SPARKLE school.
