Working together towards the green reconstruction of Ukraine

This event will bring together local and national authorities, associations of local governments, and other stakeholders from Ukraine as well as representatives from EU institutions and EU Member States.

? Who: Government officials, local leaders, civil society representatives, and experts from Ukraine and the European Union.

? What: Panel sessions on sustainable development, municipal projects, and civil society engagement, featuring distinguished speakers from various organizations and municipalities.

? Why: To address municipal needs, boost cooperation at the local level, and discuss funding opportunities for sustainable development projects in Ukraine.

The conference will provide an opportunity to take stock of the progress of the Covenant of Mayors in Ukraine, discuss the main bottlenecks and barriers encountered by many signatory cities during the ongoing large-scale war. The participants will discuss recipes for success and outline the future of the initiative and EU support to Ukrainian municipalities in the framework of the post-war green reconstruction and recovery.
