The new and free Financing Schemes and Enablers for energy transition e-learning course is designed to support public authorities like you in navigating the financial dimension of decarbonisation, helping them transform climate goals into realistic, financially credible projects.
Hosted on the Local Transitions Learning Centre, this course will guide you step by step through the key components of financial sustainability and feasibility.

Additionally, the successful completion of the course will make you eligible for the Prospect Peer-learning Programme, the second step in the Prospect Capacity-Building Programme, where small groups of around five participants, guided by a mentor, gather to focus on a specific financing scheme or enabler and enjoy a study visit.
“Financing Schemes and Enablers” is the first level of the PROSPECT Capacity-Building Programme. This EU-funded project supports local and regional authorities (LRAs) in developing and financing sustainable energy and climate projects.
