Resilient municipalities and regions are able to absorb, recover and prepare for future shocks, while continuing to adapt and transform their municipality in a sustainable way. Resilient municipalities and regions work with their inhabitants, businesses and institutions to find answers to the impact of climate change, urbanisation and globalisation.

The measures to address the different challenges that lie ahead, need a long term and sustainable approach.

The EGP’s Local Councillors Network is organising a 2-day conference in the city of Valencia, Spain (member of Energy Cities’ Board of Director), that will explore how cities and communities can become more resilient. During the conference, we will share knowledge, solutions, ideas and best practices to inspire each other.
