Learn on innovative financing for your local energy & climate projects!

PROSPECT+, capacity building for cities & regions, launches its final call!

Since 2017, Energy Cities is a partner in the PROSPECT+ capacity-building programme on innovative financing, which has already empowered over 300 participants, equipping them with vital skills and in-depth knowledge in the field of energy and climate action financing.

PROSPECT+ offers cities, regions, and energy agencies a unique platform for peer-to-peer learning and exchange in innovative financing schemes such as Energy Performance Contracting, Revolving funds, ELENA, Soft loans or Citizen-financing. The learning programme is tailored to enhance local and regional actions in the field of energy efficiency of public and private buildings, public lighting, transport, and cross-sectoral actions such as local energy production.

Our capacity-building programme is accessible upon application to all local and regional public authorities from 44 eligible countries*, along with their energy and climate agencies. It consists in a series of online training sessions and one study visit, in small learning groups gathering from 1 to 7 mentees around 1 of our mentors. Participation to PROSPECT+ is free of charge and travel and accommodation costs for the study visit are covered by the project up to 500 euros per participant.
